13th ANNUAL TRIPLE TREE FLY-IN
“Fun, Fellowship, and Hospitality”
Woodruff, SC – The 13th Annual Triple Tree Fly-In was held September 2-8, 2019 at the Triple Tree Aerodrome in Woodruff, South Carolina. 500 airplanes and thousands of spectators from 19 different states converged on Triple Tree to experience one of the fastest-growing general aviation events in the country.
Throughout the weeklong event, guests were able to take part in many different events including educational seminars, evening cookouts, group fly-outs, safety clinics, and much more.
Guests were treated with seminars from notable aviation guests including Elvis Presley’s pilot, Ron Strauss and Lockheed Martin test pilot, Wayne Roberts who stole the show at the 2018 Farnborough Air Show with his loop of the C-130. Industry executives from the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), Aircraft Owner and Pilots Association (AOPA) and the South Carolina Aeronautics Commission (SCAC) were also on hand to speak with our visitors.
“We were thrilled to welcome hundreds of aviators from all over the country for this year’s 13th Annual Triple Tree Fly-In,” said Pat Hartness, founder, and patriarch of Triple Tree Aerodrome. “We encourage everyone to come out and to experience the unique family-oriented culture and southern hospitality of the Triple Tree Aerodrome.”
The Triple Tree Fly-In is a destination like no other. Guests can take an evening stroll down one of the many groomed hiking trails or catch their fish dinner from the on-site river or lake, Triple Tree has something for everyone to enjoy.
Executive Director, Robb Williams reflected, “The Triple Tree Fly-In has become a “must-attend” event on every aviator’s calendar. Our focus is on making each of our guests feel welcome at the event that truly belongs to them”
