41st Joe Nall Week Celebrates Resounding Success with Global Attendee Turnout

Woodruff, SC- The skies were filled with excitement, and the air resonated with the hum of engines as the 41st Joe Nall Week, the premier event for radio-controlled aircraft enthusiasts, unfolded at the Triple Tree Aerodrome. Thousands of passionate hobbyists and spectators from all corners of the globe flocked to the Upstate of South Carolina to participate in the annual gathering of aviation enthusiasts. The event, held from May 12-20, 2023, not only delighted attendees with breathtaking aerial displays but also served as a vital fundraiser for our airport while bolstering educational programs within the community.

Joe Nall Week has firmly established itself as the pinnacle of radio-controlled aviation. The 41st edition of this renowned event welcomed an international audience as thousands of guests embarked on a thrilling journey filled with awe-inspiring flights, engaging workshops, and fun, fellowship, and hospitality that can only be found at Triple Tree.

This year’s Joe Nall Week provided a remarkable experience for attendees and played a significant role in supporting our airport and fostering educational initiatives. As a major fundraiser, the event generated vital resources to develop and enhance our airport’s infrastructure, ensuring a secure and exceptional flying experience for all. Additionally, the funds raised will contribute to advancing educational programs that inspire future generations to explore the world of aviation, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through our Aviation Centered Education (ACE) portfolio.
