How Did This Start? Started in 2020, the Camp N Fly event was created as a scaled-down version of our larger events like Joe Nall Week and the Triple Tree Fly-In. It was designed for those who want to enjoy the serenity of camping and flying, providing a more intimate, low-key experience at Triple Tree Aerodrome.
What Is It? Camp N Fly offers a relaxed atmosphere focused on camping and flying without the distractions of vendors or organized meals. All flightlines will be open, giving you the chance to fly with fewer people around. The event is all about enjoying Triple Tree’s beautiful setting and peaceful surroundings, with a special Founders’ Reception lunch on Fridays for all guests.
Who Is It For? We offer two separate sessions—one for General Aviation and one for Radio Control aviation enthusiasts. Like all of our events at Triple Tree, Camp N Fly is intended for members of the aviation community and their friends. To keep the event small and personal, non-aviation community members must be accompanied by someone from the aviation community.
How Much? The cost for the week is $100, which covers both flying and camping (whether dry, tent, or generator camping). For those who prefer a more comfortable setup, premium campsites with electrical hookups are available for an additional $550 for the week.
When is it?
Radio Control
Session 1-June 16-22
Session 2-July 21-27
General Aviation
Session 1-June 23-29
Session 2-July 14-20
What’s Different? Unlike our larger events, there are no vendors or organized meals (except for the Founders’ Reception on Friday). This allows for more freedom to fly and experience Triple Tree in a more intimate setting, giving you ample opportunity to connect with the facility and fellow aviators on a deeper level.
