The Triple Tree Aerodrome is proud to announce that our Executive Director, Robb Williams, has been selected as part of the Class of 2022 for the NASA Solar System Ambassadors Program.

Once notified of this honor, Robb commented, “This is a unique opportunity to show how aviation and aerospace can be combined to offer limitless learning opportunities for all ages.  I want to thank NASA and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory for this honor.  I look forward to how we can incorporate this program into the Aviation Centered Educational (ACE) programs offered at the Triple Tree Aerodrome.”

The Solar System Ambassadors Program of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) offers information and excitement about real missions that explore our solar system and beyond.

After an extensive evaluation process, Ambassadors are selected by teams from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and NASA based on their interviews, backgrounds, and plans for public outreach activities.

Once selected, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory provides ambassadors with educational materials and training.  The JPL is a division of the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, CA.
